Jordan has been singing since she was 4 & ever since then she knew she wanted to be a singer.
Jordan's father was a worship & song leader at their family church.
Jordan recently moved to Nashville, Tennessee during the summer of 2006 to persue her music career.

One Love - Picked the songs to record by her "5-second rule". Jordan loved the song after she recorded the song.
My Shoes - Sang the song on the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards red carpet. Was the first singer to sing at the Emmy's.
- "It's about a relationship. It's about stepping into somebody's shoes."
Love For A Day - Jordan's favorite song which she wrote for Permission To Fly.
- "It's about being in love for a day and just having fun with the person you are in love with for a day."
Boyfriend - "It's a different song on the album. It's more urban, clubby vibe."
"You're Not Going To Steal My Boyfriend" was the original song title, but it was too long. To make it more mysterious, the final song title came out to be "Boyfriend".
Unconditional - The first song Jordan recorded for the album.
- It's a song about Jordan's relationship with God, her parents, and how much they love Jordan unconditionally for the mistakes she's made.
- "I think it's the most heartfelt song on the album. It has so much depth and so much meaning. I love it."
I'm Gone - "It's so sassy, so bossy. It's basically just saying 'If you don't love me then I'm gone."
